GAME DAY: Oil Kings @ Lethbridge TONIGHT - 7 PM

Lethbridge, AB - The Oil Kings look to sweep home and home with Hurricanes TONIGHT! Thus far in 2012-13 the Oil Kings have a 2-0-0-0 record vs the Canes. The Kings took their second win of the series on Sunday in Edmonton. In their last trip to the ENMAX Centre in Lethbridge the Kings posted an amazing 60 shots on Hurricanes goaltender Ty Rimmer in a 3-0 Oil Kings win. After meeting six times in the 2011-12 Regular Season - the Oil Kings won the season series over the Hurricanes with a 5-1-0-0 record.

Dylan Wruck has the hot hand for the Oil Kings as he is currently on an eight game point scoring streak with three goals and 10 assists over that span. This season Wruck returned from an upper body injury that sidelined him during last year’s playoff run. Wruck finished the ‘11-12 regular season second in team scoring with 21 goals and 59 assists for 80 points in 66 games. He is second on the team in scoring and has posted 10 goals and 23 assists in 24 games (19th in WHL scoring).

Edmonton has the best power play (27.5%) and the best penalty kill (91.7%) in the league. Michael St.Croix leads the team with 8 power-play goals (T-3rd in the WHL) while Wruck is 2nd in the WHL with 14 power-play assists. The Kings lethal number one ranked penalty kill allowed only one power play goal against on 49 opportunities in November.

Moroz tallied the 2011 Teddy Bear Toss goal with four seconds remaining in the 1st period. The Edmonton Oilers draft pick sparked a flurry of nearly 8,000 bears from the fans at Rexall Place as the Oil Kings skated to a 2-1 victory.
