Moose Jaw, SK - The Edmonton Oil Kings kickoff a two game road trip through the East division tonight as they take on the Moose Jaw Warriors. It will be a rematch of the 2012 WHL Eastern Conference Championship Series as the Oil Kings take on Warriors veterans Morgan Rielly, Sam Fioretti and Brayden Point. The Oil Kings posted a 3-0-0-1 record against the Warriors during the 2011-12 regular season before taking a 4-1 series win to claim last season's Eastern Conference crown.

Tonight's game is the third of four games between these two clubs this year. The Oil Kings have a 2-0-0-0 record against the Tribe this season with a pair of 5-1 wins in Edmonton on October 19th and November 23rd. Edmonton posted a 3-0-0-1 record against the Warriors last season.

20-year olds TJ Foster and Dylan Wruck lead the way for the Oil Kings with 52 points each. Foster now has 234 points in his WHL career and will be playing his Oil Kings record 317th WHL game tonight. Wruck currently co-leads the team in scoring with 13 goals and 39 assists in 43 games. In 2010-11, Wruck set Oil Kings modern franchise records with 78 points and 38 goals – These records were then broken by Michael St.Croix in 2011-12.

Goaltender Laurent Brossoit is back to form in ‘12-13 with a 19-6-2-3 record, a 2.28 GAA, a 0.919 save % and his Oil Kings record 7th career WHL shutout. His counterpart Tristan Jarry is 11-5-0-0 with a 1.70 GAA and a 0.934 save percentage. He has also set a new Oil Kings modern day record with four shutouts this season.

Game time from Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw is set for 6:00 p.m. MST. All games this season will be broadcast live on the TEAM 1260 and streamed live at WHL.ca.

The Oil Kings return to Rexall Place on Saturday as they play host to the Brandon Wheat Kings. In their only previous meeting of 2012-13, the Oil Kings took a 6-2 win over the Wheaties on December 31st in Edmonton. It will be WHL Championship hat night at Rexall place as the Oil Kings dish out 1000 WHL Championship hats! All fans at the game will be eligible to receive a hat, since scratch-and-win tickets will be used to determine the winners.
