Saskatoon, SK - The Oil Kings will wrap up their two game road trip through the East division tonight as they take on the 2013 Memorial Cup Host Saskatoon Blades. Tonight's game is the third of four games between these two clubs this season. The Oil Kings have a 2-0-0-0 record against the Blades this year with a 4-1 win in Edmonton on October 6th, 2012 and a 2-1 win in Saskatoon on January 12, 2013. Edmonton posted a 3-1-0-0 record over the Blades last season and have an overall record of 3-6-0-0 over the last five seasons.

T.J. Foster is leading the Oil Kings scoring race with 55 points in 2012-13. He has vaulted himself to 16th in the WHL scoring race. Foster is the Oil Kings all-time leader in career WHL games played with 317 and has totaled 237 points over that span. He made history in the Oil Kings 6-5 OTL to the Hitmen on October 7th in Calgary. Foster became the first Oil King in modern franchise history to tally four goals in a game with his third career hat trick.

Goaltender Tristan Jarry is coming off his WHL leading fifth shutout of the season last night in Moose Jaw. The sophomore is 12-5-0-0 with a WHL leading 1.60 GAA and a 0.936 save percentage. Laurent Brossoit is third in the WHL with a 2.24 GAA and sports a record of 20-6-2-3 on the season. As a group Edmonton has allowed the least number of goals in the WHL and has only allowed more than two goals in a game once in their last 11.

Edmonton enters tonight's action with a three point lead over the Hitmen for top spot in the Eastern Conference. The Blades are currently ranked 7th in the conference but have not suffered a regulation loss in their last four games. In their last ten games on the road the Oil Kings have posted a 7-3-0-0 record. In contrast the Blades have a 5-3-0-2 record in their last 10 games at the Credit Union Centre.

Game time in Saskatoon is set for 6:05 p.m. MST. All games this season will be broadcast live on the TEAM 1260 and streamed live at WHL.ca.

The Oil Kings return to Rexall Place on Saturday as they play host to the Brandon Wheat Kings. In their only previous meeting of 2012-13, the Oil Kings took a 6-2 win over the Wheaties on December 31st in Edmonton.
