Fort Saskatchewan, AB - Day 2 of Oil Kings Main Camp brought on six games and some tough decisions as the defending WHL Champions continue evaluations out in Fort Saskatchewan. Management will narrow down the remaining players to field two teams that will battle it out in the Annual Red/White Intrasquad game Wednesday night.  41 players remain with one more chance to impress before the last set of cuts heading into the WHL exhibition schedule.

All Oil Kings fans are invited to get their first glimpse at the 2012-13 lineup as well as some talented future prospects. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Jubilee Rec Centre. (10013 - 96 Ave) in Fort Saskatchewan.  Admission is free.

Game 1 - Blue (1-1) vs Red (1-1) - Red wins 4-3 in OT

Jesse Mitchell didn't get the best shot away but it was enough to beat Team Blue for the OT winner in the first game of the day. Mitchell's shot buzzed the net but took an odd bounce off the back wall to find it's way in the net. The goal completed a comeback for Team Red who trailed by two goals for most of the game. Henrik Samuelsson, Ryan Dech and rookie Brett Pollock tallied the other Team Red goals while Keegan Lowe, Michael St. Croix and Mason Geertsen scored for Team Blue in a losing cause.

Sophomore Cole Benson scored his third of the camp with Brett Pollock and Ashton Sautner scoring the other goals for Team Red. Cody Corbett showed of his howitzer as he blasted his way to his first goal of camp. Corbett joined the Oil Kings early last season from Minnesota and made an impact as a rookie WHL d-man.

The second fight of training camp broke out between veteran Tristan Sieben and rookie Adam Wilson. Rookie Sebastien Auray opened the scoring for Team Blue before St.Croix tallied his camp leading 4th goal of the week.
