Oil Kings Look to Tame the Tigers TONIGHT

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings will welcome their old Central division rivals, the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday night at Rexall Place. Last season the Oil Kings posted a 4-1-0-1 record against the Tabbies. It was the Oil Kings first winning record against Medicine Hat - all time Edmonton has an 8-12-0-5 record against the Tigers.
In their only meeting of the 2012-13 season Dylan Wruck notched the game winner and Laurent Brossoit made 34 saves for a 4-2 win over the Tigers last week. Edmonton’s special teams were huge as the Oil Kings would finish the night 1 for 3 on the power play holding the Tigers to 1 for 9 with the man advantage. This included four 5 on 3 situations that the Kings successfully killed.
