Fort Saskatchewan, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings opened Main Camp Monday at the Jubilee Recreation Centre in Fort Saskatchewan. Invites moved forward from rookie camp were mixed in with the veterans for morning practices and a trio of games in the evening.

Michael St.Croix started the season the way he ended the last as he opened training camp scoring early in the first period. St.Croix led the Oil Kings with 105 points last season, becoming the first ever player in the modern era of the club to break the 100-point barrier. Tristan Sieben, Austen Moser and Brandon Ralph added the other goals while Curtis Lazar notched the only tally for Team White.
