Oil Kings Set For Friday Night Hockey

Edmonton, AB - It will be a rematch of the 2012 WHL Eastern Conference finals on Friday night as the Kings welcome the Moose Jaw Warriors. The Oil Kings will give away 500 Griffin Reinhart T-Shirts. All fans at the game will be eligible to receive a shirt, since scratch-and-win tickets will be used to determine the winners. Michael St.Croix's fifth career WHL hat trick highlighted the Oil Kings 5-1 victory over the Warriors in their first meeting this season. This Friday's match up will be the second of four scheduled meetings between these teams this season. Dating back to last year's Eastern Conference Championship series the Oil Kings have not lost to the Warriors at Rexall Place since January of 2011.
The Oil Kings posted a 3-0-0-1 record against the Warriors during the 2011-12 regular season before taking a 4-1 series win to claim the Eastern Conference crown. In the last five seasons the Kings have a 7-4-2-3 regular season record vs Moose Jaw and a 6-1-1-1 regular season record at Rexall Place against the tribe.

The Oil Kings are offering a special Movember ticket offer available for all home games during the month of November (Nov. 23 vs. Moose Jaw, Nov. 24 vs. Medicine Hat, Nov. 30 vs. Kootenay). For $62, fans may purchase two lower bowl tickets, two Oil Kings Movember T-shirts, and a $10 donation will be made in their name towards the Movember campaign.
