Oil Kings Summer Rookie Camp Opens

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings will play host to 21 prospects born in 1996 or 1997 this weekend for their annual Summer Rookie Camp. Prospects will report to camp tonight for registration and a reception. Saturday will consist primarily of fitness testing at Rexall Place prior to the first on-ice session at the Leduc Recreation Centre (4330 Black Gold Drive). The event will conclude with a second on-ice session in Leduc on Sunday afternoon. Both on-ice sessions will be open to the public as well as the media.

10:30 AM - Fitness Testing (97-born players) @ Rexall Place
3:00-5:00 PM - On ice session #1 @ Leduc Recreation Centre
Sunday, June 3
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM - On ice session #2 @ Leduc Recreation Centre
