Oil Kings Unveil Brand New Alternate Jersey

Edmonton, AB – The Edmonton Oil Kings will look like a whole new team when they take on the Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday night at Rexall Place.
Though they plan to keep playing like the same Oil Kings squad that is currently riding a modern franchise record five-game winning streak, they will have an all new look on Friday when they wear their alternate jersey for the first time.
The Oil Kings officially unveiled the new alternate uniform with a sneak peek to the media before team practice on Wednesday at Rexall Place. And the general public can get their first glimpse of the jersey when the Oil Kings go for six wins in a row against the Tigers on Friday at 7 p.m.
Friday will also be the first chance fans have to purchase the Oil Kings alternate jersey, as it will be on sale at Rexall Place for $129.99. The Oil Kings will only be wearing the special uniform a few times this season, so it will certainly be an immediate collector's item, and a great gift idea with Christmas a little more than two months away.
Friday's game is also Oil Kings Retro Night, as the whole evening will be an entertaining blast from the past. Individual game tickets for all Oil Kings home games are on sale now and start at just $15 in the ATB Financial Zone.
