Edmonton, AB - It's finally here! The 6th Annual Dodge Teddy Bear Toss presented by Global Edmonton and Shaw Media is set for TONIGHT at 7 p.m. at Rexall Place! The stage is set for a huge event as the Oil Kings play host to their "Battle of Alberta" rivals - the Calgary Hitmen. The hockey club is calling on all Edmonton hockey fans to join in on the fun as we aim to collect over 8,000 stuffed toys for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous.
It will be a battle between two of the CHL's elite with both clubs being ranked in this week's BMO CHL Top 10. The Oil Kings returned to the ranking this week at #10 while the Hitmen remained #9. These teams are currently tied with 41 points atop the WHL Central Division and one point behind Prince Albert for top spot in the Eastern Conference. Edmonton will carry a record of 7-1-1-1 in their last ten games into Friday night while Calgary is 8-2-0-0 in their last ten.

Puck drop for this holiday tradition is set for 7 p.m. Doors will open early at 5 p.m. for Founders Club members and Club Season Seat Holders then 5:30 p.m for the general public.
