Home Depot Backyard Rink Contest Winners
Oil Kings Michael St. Croix, Klarc Wilson and Colton Stephenson spent the evening of March 9 playing some shinny on Darcey Parasynchuk's backyard rink. Darcey and his family & friends got to play hockey with the Oil Kings, since they were the winners of the Home Depot Backyard Rink Contest.

Mac & Cheese Food Bank Delivery
Oil Kings Cam Abney, Colton Stephenson and Mark Pysyk delivered 252 kg of mac & cheese and other non-perishable food items to Edmonton's Food Bank on Feb. 16. The food was collected during College Mac & Cheese Night on Feb. 8.
Stollery Children's Hospital Visit
Oil Kings Colton Stephenson, T.J. Foster, Mike Piluso and Josh Lazowski visited the Stollery Children's Hospital on Feb. 15 to play some games with and get to know some of the kids currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
CFB Edmonton Cheque & Jersey Presentation

The funds, which go directly to the Soldier On program, were raised during Military Appreciation Day.
Northstars & Brave Raiders Rink Swap
The Edmonton Oil Kings welcomed the Northstars and Brave Raiders initiation hockey teams for a special practice at Rexall Place on Monday, Dec. 6. The practice was a thank-you to the minor hockey teams for letting the Oil Kings use their practice time on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Clareview Arena. Oil Kings coaches Derek Laxdal and Steve Hamilton, as well as players Mike Piluso and Cam Abney, helped with Monday's practice at Rexall.

Stuff The Bus Food Bank Delivery
Edmonton Oil Kings players visit Edmonton's Food Bank on Tuesday, Oct. 12 aboard their team bus to drop off food donations that were collected during the team's Stuff The Bus campaign. The campaign was held at the Oil Kings' home games at Rexall Place on Saturday and Monday, and 355 kg of food was collected and dropped off on Oct. 12.
Firefighters Combat Challenge
The Edmonton Oil Kings held a team-building activity on Saturday, Sept. 18, as they participated in the firefighters Combat Challenge at the Edmonton Fire Service Centre in west Edmonton.
Season Ticket Surprise Drop-Off
Two Edmonton Oil Kings veterans gave some of their most loyal fans quite a surprise on Tuesday, Sept. 14 when they showed up in person and in uniform to deliver their 2010-2011 season-seat packages. Twenty-year-old Oil Kings players Adrian Van de Mosselaer and Mike Piluso toured around Edmonton on Tuesday, visiting several of the team's long-standing season-seat holders. The players dropped off 2010-2011 ticket packages and chatted with the loyal fans about the upcoming Western Hockey League season.
