ARE YOU THE NEXT LOUIE???

The search for the next Louie the Lion has begun! The Edmonton Oil Kings are looking for a young, energetic and enthusiastic individual to perform as Louie for the 2012-13 Edmonton Oil Kings season. Our players feed off the excitement of the fans, so we want someone who can be animated and creative to get our fans into the game! Whether it’s starting a chant, dancing to the music or getting the Wave going, we want someone who can entertain the fans all game long! While no previous mascot experience is required, all interested applicants must be:
-    at least 18 years or older
-    animated, energetic and have a passion for entertaining
-    flexible to work days, evenings, weekends (you will be sharing Louie duties with our other performers)
-    able to attend community events across the city
-    able to skate and in good athletic shape to handle the rigors of a full WHL game
-    able to interact well with fans of all ages, especially children
