A Ticket Program for Kids in Need
In partnership with the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF), the Edmonton Oil Kings Seats For Kids program provides Oil Kings game tickets to registered children’s charities so that kids who are facing extraordinary challenges, and who would not normally have the opportunity, can see live Oil Kings junior hockey. The program provides an opportunity to attend Oil Kings games through the following children's charities:
Stollery Children’s Hospital
YMCA
Boyle Street Community Centre
Norwood Family Resource Centre
Youth Emergency Shelter
Ben Calf Robe Society
Ihuman
Kidney Foundation
How and Where do I Donate Tickets?
1. Drop off or mail your tickets to the Edmonton Oil Kings Administration office located at:
11230 - 110 Street
Edmonton, AB T5G 3H7
ATTN: Edmonton Oil Kings Seats For Kids
2. Drop off your tickets to a future game at the Will Call Office at Rexall Place, located on the main concourse at the Ticketmaster outlet.
3. Contact Mitch Sharma at msharma@edmontonoilers.com to donate your tickets and have them reprinted for distribution.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL DONATED TICKETS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE EDMONTON OIL KINGS A MINIMUM OF 2 BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF THE GAME.
Where Do the Tickets Come From?
Any Oil Kings season seat holder, mini pack holder or casual ticket buyer can donate them to the Edmonton Oil Kings Seats For Kids Program a minimum of 2 business days prior to the game. If you would like to support the program but don't have tickets you can make a financial donation to the EOCF to purchase tickets for this program by contacting Mitch Sharma at 409-2686.
How Do Charitable Organizations Get Tickets?
The Edmonton Oil Kings contact charities as tickets come available. Tickets are then picked up prior to the game at the Oil Kings Administration Office. If your registered children's charity is not listed above and you would like to become part of the Edmonton Oil Kings Seats For Kids Program you may submit a Participation Form. Charitable Tax Receipts & Thank You Notes
On behalf of the Edmonton Oil Kings, the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation will issue a charitable tax receipt to all ticket donors for the face value of the tickets donated.
Note to Beneficiary organizations: All thank you notes to ticket donors should be forwarded to the Edmonton Oil Kings for distribution to donors.
